| We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and it was good value for money and we would select it again in the future.
Advantages: Excellent breakfast, wide selection of food sorts. Air conditioning is easy to be controlled and works well. Stuff was nice and helpful. Location - near a bus station. Both the city center and railway station can be reached in about 15 minutes by bus; the airport shuttle stops in front of the hotel too. The hotel is close to a supermarket. The room was medium sized, but the bathroom was large.
Disadvantages: Room was very dusty. They were not cleaning the dust on the floor at all, it was there every day! However, the bathroom was clean. The towels and bed liners were changed every day and were clean.
Room can be noisy, depends on the neighbors.
TV has only Italian broadcasting, we managed to find only France24 after a time consuming search. But this happened also at the other 2 hotels where we stayed in the region. ..more |

| DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THIS WEB SITE TELLS YOU. The images and description are not for the Rainbow in Makris Tichos near Chania .They are for the Rainbow apartments in Stalis at the other end of crete. There is nothing wrong with either place but they are completely different, you will not get the booking you expect.We arrived on time in Machris Tichos to find that no booking was made for us and we were not expected (try that with suitcases and kids when its 32 degrees ) It took 6 days of emails and phone calls and stress to find out that the booking had been made for Stalis
The fault is in the online data that most agents use and nobody seems able to put it right ..more |

The location is excellent and the view from our hotel room was unbelievable. I can see the Himalayan range from my room. The scenic beauty is wonderful. | The location of the hotel is great! It's few minutes walk to the Goat Island, the place with the best view to the Horseshoe fall on american side. The room is big enough. The beds are comfortable.
