Wonderful Hotel!
We stayed at the Savoy for 6 nights in March '08 and found it to be lovely. Breakfast was very good and in a charming area. Staff was very friendly and location was ideal. We were able to walk most places or take the metro--a stop is a couple of blocks away. Rooms are very clean and a decent size. Reception area is pretty. We would stay again and recommend it to our friends.

"Great Hotel"
We have just returned from a week in Rome. The Hotel Savoy was a very pleasant surprise. For Europe, the room was very large and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. However, the resturant for dinner was over priced and uninspired.

"Great location"
We were a party of 5 four daughters and 73 year old mother. We had a treble room and a double. The treble room was a very decent size, no view but nice and comfortable. The double had a view and was very nice too. The staff were very helpful on the front desk ordering us 5 seater taxis when we asked. the location of the hotel is fab 10 mins walk from spanish steps and trevi fountain. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but i think it was as we chose the busiest time to go down ((9 a.m). A nice choice of cold and cooked plus fruits and juices cereals etc. I have stayed at this hotel about 6 years ago it has been renovated since then and is very nice the rooftop bar is very nice was a bit too cold for us to sit out in march we sat inside. would def reccomend this hotel for the price good value.

"Fantastic hotel."
This hotel was fantastic. I had read reviews on 20 other hotels and finally decided on the Savoy. The room was large enough to accommodate two adults and a 5 and 7 year old. The bathroom was new and modern and on the recommendation of a few of the reviews I had read on this hotel, we stayed in a room facing the courtyard. The rooftop bar area is beautiful with a wonderful view of the city. The staff were very kind and friendly and the breakfast is fantastic....a full buffet breakfast is offered. I can't wait to go back to Rome and I will definitely be staying at the Savoy on our next trip. It is close enough to all the sights...We walked everywhere with our kids....and once you work out the shortcut to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain - you are on your way!

"What a perfect place to stay!!!"
I stayed at this hotel for a short weekend break, and to be honest, I could not have asked for more from a hotel. It is in a spectacular part of the city, with easy access to everything that you would want. Amazing shopping is no more than about ten minutes walk, with the spanish steps on the way to that! The Trevi fountain is not much further and the temple of the unknown soldier is at the top of the shopping street! From literally outside the Savoy, you can pick up the daily tours that take you to all the important places e.g. Sistine Chapel, Colloseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, St.Peters Basillica etc. At the end of the day, it then drops you right outside the door. Its perfect. The hotel itself has a staff force that work around the clock to making your stay as comfortable as possible. The concierge were extremely friendly and helpful, particularily with suggestions on restaurants etc, which is needed as there is an array to choose from! I can honestly say that I had a really wonderful time and when I return to rome, I know that I will stay at the savoy. They made the trip complete!!!
