DO NOT STAY HERE
3 hour checkin. Dark hallways - we saw at least three hookers plying their trade. Rude staff. We stayed at a Best Western later near the Javits Center which was clean, bright and friendly for LESS money.

If you arrive at say 11pm, it is gonna take you more than an hour's lineup to check in. TERRIBLE front desk service. However, location is a plus: very convenient access to transportation and walkable distance to time square, empire state building, 5th ave, etc. Very bad internet service: no wifi in the rooms and lobby wifi is not free; you can request a room with hard wire internet connection though, but again not free. Concierge desk is again very long lineup. So if you are a very well planned traveller knowing exactly where you wanna go and what you gonna do, this is a good value hotel since all you need is a good location, and a bed. If you plan to just come to New York and wing it, this hotel is not for you. An after note: hard to imagine internet connection is not as basic as water in such an international city.

DIRTY PLACE
When we stayed the place is creepy, the hallways are dimmly light, our room was so small we could hardly move, the wall were filthy, we had to phone cnstantly for towels and facecloths. Location was good. I would never stay there again.

Great Location
Was my first time in New York City,And the staff could not have been better. They were very helpful in giving directions to different places. The rooms are small but are just right for two. I will come and stay here again.

It couldnt be in a better location. Perfect for young couples that use the hotel as a base. The only bad thing i have to say about he hotel was one of the staff. She was a receptionist, so she was one of the first people we spoke to, she was so rude, i think she was the rudest person ive meet in my life! She made us feel so unwelcome and almost ruined our first night in the city. We didnt want a big song and dance just a smile or even a hello would have been nice! But going just around the corner to the Empire State really cheered us up and the people there were lovely. So great location shame about the meany at the desk!

Horrible hotel
I have traveled very much, but I have not been in another hotel so bad as this, dirty rooms, cockroaches and the reception of the hotel very badly. We advise you not to go if you do not want to spend a few bad holidays. Greetings.

Smack dab in the middle of it all!No need for a cab. Old school rooms but spacious and terrific views. Well worth the money. (In March anyway) I would want to stay here from now on.

wonderful accomodation in NY
It was a problem for me to travel with my little dog so I searched a hotel which is pet friendly. I booked this one and very glad. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned but very clean. The staff on the reception desk is very polite. Fast check in. I have no complaints about hotel. Location is just perfect near the Empire State and Macy's. I was impressed by 24 hour open coffee shop. My stay was very comfortable one. I surely recommend it

"Everything is at your doorstep!"
Pennsylvania Hotel's location was just perfect, you can't go wrong! Everything is at your doorstep! And of course we were addicted to Starbucks, and the DELICIOUS ginger cookies they have in the NY stores only! so good!!! anyway, for the short time we were there, we found everything to be fantastic and have not one complaint!
