* A $75 million renovation began January 9, 2012. The hotel is open and fully operational as the NY Helmsley during renovation. There will be very little, if any, impact on the guest's experience. All of the renovation is behind closed doors and the hotel will have buffer floors to shield the guest floors from any potential noise disruption. Renovations are expected to be completed by May/June, 2012 at which time the hotel will change names to a Westin Hotel, name TBD at this time. The first 2 floors of renovated rooms are anticipated to come back into inventory early March 2012.
